This special edition marries together a blend of exceptional single malts from the Lowlands, and is bottled up at cask strength – a hearty 56.8%, giving a warming boost to the classicly elegant malt at its core.
A sherried variation of The Gauldrons from Douglas Laing! This blended malt is comprised of malt whiskies from the Campbeltown region, and has been given a finishing period in Spanish sherry casks, introducing some delectable notes of dried fruit, chocolate, and festive spice to the softly smoky situation. This single malt was distilled at Linkwood distillery in 2007 and aged for more than 13 years in a single hogshead, yielding a total of 282 bottles. Layers of indulgent flavours marry together in harmony to make for a truly pleasant result.

A limited-edition bottling of Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled up at a bolstered 54.9% ABV. Dubbed Meet the Beast, this expression certainly does dial up the intensity a few notches, with a big burst of vibrant fruit and oak notes at its core, supported by vanilla, fresh pastry, and a host of spices. A brilliant Highland blended malt – though the red eyes of the beastie on the label look as if it's staring into your soul a little bit.
It's time to meet the beast – the Timorous Beastie, that is! Douglas Laing has created a limited edition bottling of it's Highland blended malt expression, featuring whiskies matured for at least 13 years before bottling. The whiskies were aged exclusively in American bourbon barrels, and it's been bottled up at 52.5% ABV. 3,000 bottles of this little beastie were produced. it takes its name from a Robbie Burns poem, but despite sounding small, it's by no means a shy dram!
A gentle 10 year old from the Speyside distillery, Tomintoul. This was introduced to their range in 2002, two years after the distillery was bought by Angus Dundee.
This is the 16 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Tomintoul distillery, matured in selected bourbon casks. It was crafted by fourth generation distiller, Robert Fleming. Rather elegant and flavoursome, this one.
The Tullibardine 15 Year Old has arrived! The Highland distillery reopened in 2003, and this is one of the most well-aged releases to date. Seeing as it was matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, there's lots of creamy, honeyed influence to be found in this one.
