THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF ISLAY IS PEAT
PEAT Pure Islay is the companion to PEAT, trading its feisty full strength for a more approachable and easy-sipping 45% ABV.
Packed with Islay smoke, it's still a go-to whisky for both cocktails and long drinks, as well as being an excellent dram to sit with long into the night.
Created using whiskies from a handful of distilleries from across Islay, PEAT Pure Islay is a well-balanced and easy-drinking everyday whisky to keep all smoky dram fans happy.
Fantastic Speyside single malt from the Benriach Distillery, matured for 21 years in a rather intriguing combination of casks – bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks, and Bordeaux red wine casks, to be specific. Oodles of fruity notes, blending brilliantly with warming oak and fragrant wafts of smoke – an exceptional whisky from Dr. Rachel Barrie and her team.
Our Vintage expression has become a tradition at anCnoc and our recently released Vintage 2009 is a fitting testimony to the time-honoured methods employed in the production of this traditional yet distinctly modern single malt.
anCnoc Vintage 2009 has been matured in Spanish and American oak casks and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither coloured or non-chill filtered. As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.

To achieve final finishing, sake needs to go through 3 final pressing stage namely the Arabashiri (first pressed/first run sake), Nakadorl (2nd pressed/middle take) and finally, Seme (last pressed).
Hence, for this special Anniversary joint bottling (also our first Sake product) we are introducing a special sake experience by releasing a set of 3 bottle sake from the same single tank, harvested individually from each of the three pressing stage, allowing you to experience and satisfying curious palate with the difference in taste that each (three) of the pressing stage brings. This is also the first ever single tank sake in set ever release.
