This delight from Dailuaine was distilled in 2009 and matured for 12 years, until independent bottler The Red Cask Company released it in 2022. During its maturation, the single malt enjoyed a stay in a first-fill ex-oloroso sherry cask, which yielded a total of 332 bottles.

Here we have a 24 year old anCnoc single malt from the Knockdhu distillery up in the Scottish Highlands, and anCnoc translates to ‘up the hill’ in Gaelic. Made using traditional production methods, this whisky is an expression not often seen on these shores, and is made without colouring or chill filtering.

Back with a ninth batch, it's the magnificent 10 Year Old Cask Strength from GlenAllachie, highlighting the passion for perfection, and expertise in wood management of legendary head distiller, Billy Walker! This single malt marries spirit drawn from a selection of Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks, rioja barriques, and medium toasted and charred American virgin oak barrels. Expect all the gloriously sherried, classic GlenAllachie character here! Bottled at a bold cask strength of 58.1% ABV.

This right here is a higher-strength edition of Hunter Laing's Scarabus single malt, which is an Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery. To make it, casks are specially selected to be bottled at the bumped-up strength. While the standard expression is bottled at 46% ABV, this one weighs in at a burly 57% ABV, which has helped to bolster the robust, smoky notes at its core.

Sourced from an undisclosed Islay distillery comes Scarabus, a single malt from Hunter Laing launched for Fèis Ìle 2019. Scarabus means ‘rocky place’ in Old Norse, named after a mystical area of Islay. The whole expression is quite mysterious, from the secretive distillery to the golden symbols adorning the bottle. A very handsome bottling housing delicious Islay whisky.

The balance of smoothness and complexity of flavour and aroma comes from blending whiskies some of which have been matured in Bourbon hogheads.

A superb addition to our current range, the anCnoc 18 Years Old has matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither chill-filtered nor coloured.  As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.

Smooth and approachable, with each twist and turn delivering a surprise, this is a dram that has something for everyone. anCnoc has released its second batch of Peatheart single malt, a heavily-peated expression packing a hefty 40 PPM measurement! We've been very impressed with the peaty expressions coming from anCnoc, and Peatheart once again offers up marvellous waves of BBQ-style smoke and earthy richness, brilliantly balanced by zesty tropical fruit.
